I guess it's not really a macro because I can't spend 200 bob on a lense just yet so..it's a close up of my face with a nice bit of vampireblood. I wanted to do more of a Rimmel-type shot but I think it would only work if it really WERE Kate Moss not my ugly face

i like what i can make of this photo. i think your camera's just fine, you'd get a macro if you stood more still or if the lighting were brighter. the lips look shaky, and the edge of the upper lip is not as straight as the lower.
and you can photoshop your way to kate moss.

Except your epic amounts more gorgeous than Kate Moss could ever aspire to be.
I really like this, maybe if the skin was less yellow, and the blood was darker, it would be more dramatic. Nonetheless I love it (especially the lips how their all pouty) and it makes me giggle.
Your still one of my favorites in all of Deviantart-dom :)

thank you very much! i still have a tube of fake blood so hopefully I can do some more practise with this kinda stuff. the prettier the model the funnier the effect XD

Do it, you should just go crazy with it sometime, experiment, Its actually pretty easy to make fake cuts and all that shit once you get the hang of it, I cant wait to seeee!
Yeah thats true, and the more fun it is to take their picture/play around on photoshop with them, its why I'm glad I have pretty friends haha :D
